Another week goes by

Where on earth does the time go to? I can't believe that over two weeks have gone by since I last blogged. I can't even tell you where the time has gone to. I have often pondered over the fact that as you get older time becomes relatively shorter and notice it more now I have two young children. For Anna, age 6 a year is one sixth of her life, whereas for me......well...let's not go there in too much detail, surfice to say it's a significantly smaller proportion! In my defence the weeks have whizzed by because I've been quite busy — I've been ordering hedge plants (around 4,000 of them to be precise) and trees, and sorting out where they all have to be planted — this is truely going to be the most beautiful marina in the country (but then I am quite biased!) I'm also still getting to grips with using SAGE for my accounts which is taking some time. And finally I'm doing the caring mother routine after receiving a phone call from school on Friday to say that Isabelle had fallen in the playground and cut her head on a fence post — funny but they didn't seem too impressed when I suggested I could fix her up with the steri strips I keep in the cupboard and took her off to Whitchurch A+E to get it glued — poor Izzy came home with a very sore head and a very disappointed mother....sooner or later someone WILL let me practice my first aid.......
