Drat — sorry — just realised that my last blog post didn't save and I've lost it to the depths of the internet. Bit of a shame really because I was quite pleased with it and now I can't really remember what it was about (what a fast moving life I must lead!! — well either that or I'm going a bit senile!!) We were away last week in the Lake District with the girls — a lovely week away, only slightly marred by the continual phone calls to our contractors who were trying to trace the souce of our intermittent electrical fault which has been driving us all crazy.

Anthony and Sue did an excellent job of coping with things back at base but sometimes there are some things you just have to stay involved in. Thankfully on Saturday the fault finally became persistent and we were able to track down the culprit — a footpath stake which had been driven into the protective casing of the one of the trunk cables. Such a simple mistake, yet it has caused us so much grief. I can't even begin to describe the relief I now feel that it's finally fixed — thanks to the guys from Rolec and Land and Water Services.
