Help - I can't get out!

I came to work today on a slightly unusual mode of transport — in fact there can't be that many people who get there by a rather large (4 steps!), rather dirty and extremely bumpy green and yellow tractor — well actually round here there probably are quite a few people who get to work that way, but maybe not so many with an office job! I didn't drive it myself — I got a lift with Angus. I can drive it myself but tend to avoid it ever since I got stuck on the yard. It wasn't that I couldn't drive it — it was more that I couldn't get out of it! There I was, sat in the tractor, desperately trying to get the door open and the catch just wouldn't budge. In the end, after 15 minutes of trying I gave up and started calling — by the time I'd tried Angus and both of the Paul's with no success I was getting pretty desperate — in the end it was Richard who came to my rescue and who managed, very gallantly to let me out with only the odd snigger or two.

On the Marina front we are busily preparing for our annual trip to Crick. If you're there do pop into the Kingfisher tent and say hello — it really does make a difference to see a face you know when you've been stood on the stand all day. Later on in June we are hosting Safety Afloat Sunday — a waterways safety festival which is being organised by the Audlem Lass team. It's free admission so come along and join us for a fun day out all in aid of the RNLI. Check out the poster in the Marina Reception for all the things which will be going on!
