I had the strangest email from Anthony, my Marina Manager last night...it all began yesterday morning when Dave, our able handyman fitted a new coded lock to the chemical toilet disposal point door. He checked it worked a number of times and we were delighted with the job.......that was until late last night when Ant was called in to "rescue" a moorer who had gone into the room and couldn't get out! Poor Terry was in there for quite some time until someone heard his cries for HELP! Seems that Dave had put the internal handle on the wrong way round and whilst it worked fine with the door open there was no way of opening it from inside. I don't know what was worse......Dave's handy man skills.....or the fact that Terry's wife confessed this morning that she had assumed he was "just chatting to someone" and not missed him a bit!
