I'm going potty!

I'm going potty about potholes at the moment! I'm desparate to fill some in on the road around the moorings but everytime I book some muscle to help out it either rains again (or it snows!) it's driving me (and the moorers) mad! Angus tells me I have to be patient and wait for a dry spell or it will all be in vain (unless you get a few days worth of vehicles driving over it to consolidate the stone it just washes out again) but I hate having to be so patient. I have to say that he does have an awful lot more experience in these things that I do so he does tend to be right, so now I'm trying to 'think around' the problem....does anyone have a steam roller I can borrow??
