The title of this blog should really be "Saving the Wine Boat" — picture the scene....we were just stood outside the front doors of Reception having a moment of peace and quiet after the folk band had departed when a large bottle of wine cruised past.........After rubbing my eyes a couple of times to check I wasn't dreaming, I looked more closely to find that it was the Arniston Bay Wine Boat — they are cruising around the network giving out free wine samples and money off coupons. Needless to say we were falling over ourselves to rush out to the refuelling bay to see if we could help them in any way (not that we're a sucker for a free sample!!) They had water in their bilges and we managed to get them pumped out so they could continue on their 'merry' way......so two bottles of wine later..... and we may, or may not manage to get closed up and cashed up tonight...
