Our swan

Great news! The swan has hatched 6 beautiful fluffy little cygnets and we have a couple of amazing photos taken by Mark Welton to mark the occasion. The rest of Overwater is bursting with spring and the island is looking amazing. I've had a couple of weeks off work to recover from some surgery and I can't believe the difference 2 weeks can make. The hedges are in full flourish, the trees on the island are really growing well and the wild flowers starting to bloom. We're also gearing up for two important weekends — Crick Boat Show, next weekend (call and see Alex and Anthony in the Kingfisher Marquee) and our very own RNLI festival which takes place on the evening of Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June. We have a wonderful line up for the Saturday night and I must remember not to try to match a certain moorer (Paul — you know who you are!!) at drinking red wine!
