I'm looking out of my office window and it's raining — where on earth has the summer gone to?? I even had to resort to trousers today instead of shorts — my goosebumps were getting goosebumps! This time last week we were on a family holiday in Cyprus — they were having a bit of a heatwave with temperatures around 5 degrees higher than normal making it a very hot 35 to 40 degrees. Seems very uncharitable to complain about it being too hot, then come home and complain about it being too cold — such a very British thing to do! It's been a sad week since then — my old horse Rupert had to be put down. He was living out his dotage with a wonderful lady who has lavished so much care and attention on him. Sadly it was his time to go and it has left a very big hole in my heart (he was a very big horse!!)

Look what's arrived. The Overwater Wheelybus has, after some phenomenal fundraising, been handed over to us today. Now we can transport wheelchair users, and those with mobility issues, for trips on our wheelchair friendly Wheelyboat and to appointments...
