Last week has to be billed as one of the strangest weeks we've had in a long time! It started on the Monday with a moorers cat locked in someone elses boat and was followed by a quick sucession of strange enquiries and "interesting" visitors. The funniest moment of the week had to be the call Des took which went something like this..
"Hello can you help me find my brother, he's on a boat"
Des — "what's the boat name?"
"I'm not sure — he changed it"
Des — "let me check his name on our database — are you sure he moors with us?"
"Oh no — he doesn't have a mooring — I just know that he's somewhere on his boat near Audlem....or possibly Stafford......"
We have been advised of a numer of roadworks in the local area, due to re-surfacing...
Alison is delighted to announce that from Saturday 20th May Overwater's Cafe at Bridge 80 will now be open from 9.30am to 4pm every day during the summer.
