Trying times

Phew! It's been a very trying time at Overwater in the last few weeks. As many of you will know we took over running the workshop in May and the work has been coming in thick and fast. We have two great engineers, Alan and Simon, who have been doing their best to keep everyone on the water. Then poor Alan came back from holiday and has been quite poorly. In fact I've known him for years, and I've never known him to be so poorly. Simon stepped into the breach and did a wonderful job, but with one engineer down it's been a very trying time. Fortunately now Alan is much better and back at the coal face. Simon has had a few days off to move his new boat (ask him about it — it's very special!) and we have a new engineer starting next Monday so it's back to business as usual. Big thanks have to go to everyone who has patiently waited for jobs to be done while Alan was so ill. You know who you are — and you are the people who make this job just that bit more special!
