Waiting

Had a slight technical hitch recently — I seem to have lost at least 2 blog posts which I thought I'd posted and they don't seem to be here (or maybe I'm going senile!) So, not wanting to disturb her, we're patiently waiting for her to hatch them before we can build the rest of the benches, and waiting...and waiting....how long does it take for duck's eggs to hatch? She seems to have been on their for weeks — so the conversation in the office now is how long do we wait before we try to explain to her that she's fluffed it up (so to speak). Not only will we all be devastated if they don't hatch — she 's now attracted quite a fan club of moorers who discretely check she's OK on a regular basis. Maybe if they don't hatch I'll have to buy in dome duckings as well......
