Lots has been happening here over the last couple of weeks. I know it's no excuse for not blogging enough lately but we really have been busy. We've had a few really lovely days — what a difference a bit of blue sky and sunshine makes. Everyone seems to be out and about and the interest we've started having in moorings is incredible. Oh — and as for the blog headline — I almost missed out my most exciting news — the marina is now a base for RYA training with Linda from Cheshire Cat Holidays now offering Helmsman's Courses so I'm booking myself onto one asap — it's been a long time since I stood at the helm of a boat......clear the canal!!!!!!

DO make sure your boat has a CO alarm, DO check the batteries, DO respond if it goes off — open the windows and doors and get out of the boat. DON'T leave ashes from your fire inside the boat — even as they cool they can be giving off...
