Sunday 29th April
2.30pm until 4.30pm
A Fire Engine and team will be at the Marina this Sunday!
They will be hosting a talk with members of the public regarding water safety and answering any questions you may have on the subject.
Drowning is one of the UK's leading causes of accidental death. Each year more than 300 people drown after tripping, falling or just by underestimating the risks associated with being near water. Many more people are left with life changing injuries in water related incidents.
If you are interested then please take the time to come and have a chat with the fire service, and hopefully learn something that will keep you safe!
The Overwater Team
The Fire Fighters will be on duty. This will mean that if an emergency should arise then they will have to respond. If this happens then we shall re-schedule for them to come another time.
