Cold on the Overwater Island

It's important to take a little time to consider how you can keep your boat safe this winter. Correct winterisation can help to reduce costly repairs should weather conditions become extreme.
Here at Overwater we can offer the following:

Includes our standard winterisation package PLUS a regular check of your boat (start engine, check batteries charging, check for obvious leaks, check shoreline meter — electric cards charged extra) AS WELL AS de-wintering, including reconnection of water pump, refill of tank and general check. Normal cost is £450 (does not include antifreeze) — Special offer for 2015 — now £395!
Standard Winterisation Package
Includes engine and heating antifreeze checks, battery terminals cleaned + greased, stern tube tightened, water tank drained, water pump check + disconnection, calorifier check, water heater drained, shower head removal, deck drain holes cleared, ventilation checked and battery isolation switch check. Normal cost is £160 (does not include antifreeze) - Special offer for 2015 — now £135

Weekly Winter Boat Check
For peace of mind we offer a regular Winter Boat Check which includes checks that your battery charger light is on, there are no obvious leaks or bursts, that alarms are operating (where a test button is available) and a shoreline meter check and top-up (electric cards charged extra). We can check your boat weekly, fortnightly or monthly as you require. Only £15 per check
De-Winter your boat ready for the new season from £75

Don't ignore your life jackets — this time of year is a good time to check them over and get them serviced. You can service your life jacket through SeaSafe from as little as £9.95. You can drop it off at the Overwater Reception and they will collect it for you. Call the Marina Reception on 01270 812677 for more...
