Many people will be unaware that for the last few years my father in law Richard
Maughan, who was so instrumental in the development of Overwater, has been suffering from Motor Neurone Disease. This is an extremely distressing disease and through the last couple of years we as a family have received tremendous support from the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA). Paul Cliffe has worked for Richard on the family farm for over 25 years and he and his wife, Wendy have offered to take part in the Great North Run on the 7th September to raise funds for the MNDA. If anyone would like to sponsor their efforts on this very difficult run you can do so via their Just Giving website at www.justgiving.com/paul-wendycliffe/
Many thanks
Janet
