It's been a busy week all round this week. The girls are still off school so I've been rather torn between the marina and home which has resulted in rather a few too many late night paperwork sessions. the dreadful weather at the start of the week finally subsided on Tuesday and Wednesday and
I've bought a boat!! I'm so excited! (Many thanks Mr C !) Ok to everyone else it might only be 7 foot long and made of....well....plastic I think (it's a BIC boat – yes – made by the same people who make pens). So as Angus has pointed out, I'm planning to row around the marina in
As I'm staring out of the window I can't help thinking that snow on the 31st March is not good, not good at all!! Snow, rain, high winds, how on earth will the Easter Bunny cope with all of that (and believe me in a house with two small children it is something of a concern!) More importantly

I spent most of the day walking the jetties to check all the nails are in the places that nails should be (and I can now safely say that the vast majority)
Great news – after an absence of at least a week and much arguing and accusations as to "who had it last" I've finally found my camera so I can take a few more photos for the gallery. Today was a perfect day for it too – blue skies and lots of sunshine, long may it last! I spent the morning
Apologies for not blogging sooner, there has been so much going on this week I've not been able to keep up. I feel a bit like a fish swimming against the tide at the moment. Lots of decisions have been coming at us thick and fast, not the really big ones like "where do you want us to build
Well – what an excellent week we have had with the weather. Everyone is now smiling on site and real progress is being made with the footpaths, road and most importantly the ground source heat pump coils. On Friday the Scottish Power electricity poles arrived for our incoming supply and I actually started
