Two of our local Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI) fundraisers had a royal day out recently when they attended the RNLI 200th Anniversary Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. Janet attended the event with Christine Cottrell who, with her late husband Rodney Cottrell, has been a staunch supporter
Coole Lane Road Closure Coole Lane, between the Marina and the village will be closed on Monday 13th May between 9.30am and 3.30pm for gulley cleaning. To access the village there will be a diversion down Hollingreen Lane.
The Audlem Music & Arts Festival is just around the corner, taking place around the village over the late May bank holiday weekend -Friday 24th until Monday 27th May This is the exciting line-up for the weekend, with lots of our favourites heading back to Audlem Pick up a programme in reception!
On Monday 8th April, repairs will begin on the bridge over the River Weaver on the A525 (Whitchurch Road) – this will be closed until the evening of Tuesday 30th April. Well despite the weather it must be spring because both the Audlem Lass and the Wheelyboat are back in the water. Year in, year out the launch of those two little boats never ceases to bring a frission of excitement in the marina office – it really does make us look forward to the spring and summer.
