Audlem Lass in dramatic canal rescue

I've got a great headline for this week...."Audlem Lass in dramatic canal rescue", or as Rodney, the Audlem Lass organiser put it "The RNLI always comes up trumps!" It all started as an ordinary Saturday......until the crew of the Audlem Lass came upon a stranded narrowboat.

Swinging into action they threw over a tow rope and the rest was history – well done lads, and a very big thank you to the crew of the boat in question who made a very welcome donation to the RNLI!
