A beautiful October week

What a beautiful week we've been having for October – sunshine and blue skies – doesn't it make you feel better!! The marina is beautiful at the best of times but with weather like this it looks stunning. The saddest thing is I'm gathering together everything my accountant will need to pull together our year end accounts, so my head is stuck in my laptop rather than the important business of being out in my little boat "checking" the marina. I did take a break last week when my friend Terry came to visit. Terry should be imortalised in Overwater Marina history – 12 years ago he came to visit me to meet Angus and check out where I would be moving to. He stood on Bridge 80 and told me he had a great idea – we should stop farming and start digging......well Terry, it's only taken me 12 years but, as always, I took your advice and look what we've dug for you.......
