Blocks and benches

Is it normal to be so excited about a bit of block paving and some slabs? Is it something that happens to you as you get older (just like the fact that you start to like walking around B&Q at weekends?) If it is I'm OK...and if it isn't...well I don't care anyway – I'm still excited because this week we've had a bit more block paving put down in front of reception so we can put a bench on it and it looks great! No more getting my feet wet and muddy on sunny winter days when I just want 5 minutes sitting outside with a coffee! We've also been busy round the site, putting in paving slab bases for the picnic benches so that it's easier to mow round them and they don't get broken by being moved so often. It actually feels kind of nice to feel so pleased by something so simple.
