A boaty day

I've had a bit of a treat today – I took the executive decision to get out of the office and onto the Wheelyboat. I gatecrashed the 10.30am trip and had a lovely time until Rod handed me the tiller and said "she's all yours". The look of horror on my face must have been a picture (unless I hide it well). I've skippered the boat in training with crew in the marina but this was my first time out with precious passengers......and it was wonderful! she's such a lovely boat to handle – the engine is electric and very nippy and the boat moves just where you put it......until I got caught by the wind in the entrance and didn't put quite enough power on....oops – apparently the dent will knock out....
