A few ups and downs

Well there have been "ups" and there have been "downs" this week. On the up side I have been once again delighted and humbled by the kindness of a small group of moorers who off their own back offered to put the mulch down round the new hedge plants on the drive. This has been a tremendous job and has freed Angus and I up considerably – I won't name names, but you know who you are and saying thank you seems so inadequate but THANK YOU!!

On the down side we have been having a few problems with our electrics tripping out this week, made worse by the fact that we had a general power cut one night last week as well with most of Audlem and Hankelow being off. Last night the power tripped half the site and the facilities building a few times and I spent a frustrating night with the electrician, our project manager Mark Jenkinson and Anthony trying to track the fault. Rolec are back on site tomorrow so hopefully we should get to the bottom of it – if not I find that the wall outside the facilities building is quite handy for banging your head against......
