Finally coming back down

I've finally come back down from our Grand Opening weekend, in fact by Wednesday of last week I actually felt like I'd been run over by a bus! It's funny how it gets to you like that. I've felt pretty on top of life until last week then the enormity of everything that has happened in the last year seemed to hit me all in one go. A year ago there was just a great big field, no marina, no nothing and I'd just quit my job in Manchester, so no more train journeys, no more conferences to go to, no more lunches out and no more Starbucks!!!

One year later and we have a marina, still no more train journeys and conferences, but I managed to sort the issue of lunches and coffee out pretty effectively by building a coffee lounge (although I'm now having to ration myself to cake once a week or I'll be the size of a house by Christmas)!!
