Ho Ho Ho!

What a month it's been – with the cruising season well and truly over the office usually goes a bit quieter but this month has been hectic. We've had some lovely days at the start of the month but just lately it's been really rather wet. Angus was actually quite chuffed to find the first storm of the season named after him, but I'm not sure the people of the south west and even our contractors trying to work on our caravan site and lodge pitches had quite the same affection for it! The lads working on site have been brilliant – although things started off dry there have been a couple of days when it looked more like they were building an extension to the marina not a caravan site! Our moorers and caravan site visitors have all been brilliant too in cheerfully putting up with the build. I am always gutted when any bit of the site looks a mess for any reason so I'm finding the whole build very stressful but everyone has been so supportive it really helps. On a different and more seasonal note I have been heard to start humming the odd Christmas song over the last few days, much to the consternation of my eldest daughter who declared Mum it's not even December yet! Well, now it is!! So I shall be putting up the Christmas Tree and decking the halls with boughs of Holly and we will be singing Christmas songs and eating mince pies for at least the next 24 days!!!
