I'm back!

Well I lasted for a week and a half – then I got so mind numbingly bored at home (I'm not allowed to lift anything heavier than a kettle for ages – which leads to an interesting debate about "how heavy is a kettle"?) there was nothing for it but to head for the marina. I can't drive for at least another week or two so I snuck out the back way, down the cow lane, up over bridge 80 and in by the back gate. Before I'd got as far as the bridge Angus has tracked me down! You just can't sneak off anywhere these days. It was great to be back in the marina office and was such a lovely autumn day. There is something really fantastic about seeing people out and about and enjoying being on the water. It sounds really strange but it actually feels quite special to share in that. I've really missed the atmosphere in the office..Sam's bad jokes.....Dave looking at me like I'm slightly mad...and Colin just sighing a lot when I suggest something stupid.
