A monumental day

A monumental day today – on two accounts – firstly the frame to the workshop went up with the roof struts being put on with a very large crane. Secondly, and with great excitement, I signed our Network Access Agreement with British Waterways. What this means is that, as far as British Waterways is concerned we can legally accept a boat into the Marina from the date agreed! I almost felt like cracking open a bottle to celebrate but there is still lots of work to do!!!

On a lighter note I had some time off from the marina recently and tried to re-create my youth by going to see the "Rocky Horror Show". I went with friends and true to Rocky tradition we all dressed up as french maids and transvestites, which when recounted back to site caused some amusement with the Mick the site manager, particularly since he is used to seeing me trudging around the site covered in mud.
