Post-Christmas blogging

Good news – the Christmas tree still has some of it's needles on and so far the fairy lights haven't stopped working. Christmas day was a frenzy of , excited children, food, more excited children and even more food. To work off the excess Boxing Day was elected to be a walking day.

My brother and his family came over, as well as my best friend and her boys and where better to walk than to the Marina. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, the children were having a wonderful time jumping into ice puddles – it was all going really well until we just couldn't resist that ice on the marina via the slipway. All I will say is that it was holding my weight rather well until my big brother got in on the act.
