Radio star!

Sometimes I really do sit back and think what a fun job being at the marina is. I used to hate Monday mornings but the last few have been really great fun. It started off a couple of week ago with a visit from a reporter for Radio 4's Farming Today – they were running a week on rural tourism and wanted a bit on the Wheelyboat – it didn't take us long to talk the reporter into going out on the boat and we spent our morning gliding round the island (I say gliding because the engine is electric so it's really quiet). Last week was the turn of the media guys for the Cheshire Business Awards. We're down to the last 3 for the award of Corporate Social Responsibility. Again it didn't take long before Angus, Rodney and myself had got them in the boat and were once again whizzing silently around the island. Can't wait to see who wants a go next week.....
