Remember, remember

A month or so ago one of our moorers had the unfortunate mishap of slipping off her boat and having a rather cold and unpleasant ducking. Poor Julie, not only did she have to get Garry to pull her out, end up sopping wet and covered in bruises from glancing off the boat as she fell but, and much worse, as Julie saw it, she lost her brand new Memory Foam slippers. Now I've never had a pair of Memory Foam slippers, but I do have a Memory Foam bed, and it's the comfiest thing I've ever slept on so I can understand her upset. Garry, on the other hand tended to see the funny side of it, declaring that she shouldn't worry too much – if they were Memory Foam they'd remember to come back............oh how we all mocked him.....until the other week.........when another eagle eyed moorer spotted a "dead fish" in the reeds next to Garry and Julie's boat....upon closer inspection – yes – you guessed it, one Memory Foam slipper.....hmmm, now just gotta wait for the other one......
