So much to say

It's been so busy round here there is loads to say! It's been Audlem's music festival weekend this week, as well as Crick Boat show. Alex and Ant have been down at Crick on the Overwater stand and have been delighted to see so many moorers at the show. I went down on the "Overwater on Tour" bus and had a great day on Saturday – Crick really has had a boost over the last two years and there was loads to see and do. Pre-Crick we had the pilot run of the Vintage Kitchen's takeaway service to the Marina. Sadly only Colin and I took up the service – but what a treat you all missed out on – Angus and I had the chicken tikka and the Morrocan lamb tagine and it was delicious! If we can get enough support for the service it will happen on a regular basis – think how easy that would be – arrive at your boat on a Friday, sit back, open a bottle of wine and wait for the takeaway service to arrive. Let us know in the Marina office if you'd be interested in something like this and what type of food you'd like to see on the menu.
Now for something completely different......next week is our RNLI fund raising festival (don't forget to join us for our Big Band evening on Saturday night – entry is free) and the word is out that the lads from the engineering shed have been on secret sea trials with their raft (built specially for the Audlem RNLI Raft Race at Overwater next Sunday).
