A sunny open day at last

At last!! – I can't believe it!!! – we had a Open day today and it was SUNNY, not cold, wet, windy and grey like usual. A bit breezy but SUNNY!! I spent most of the day walking the jetties to check all the nails are in the places that nails should be (and I can now safely say that the vast majority of them are!) and chatting to people – what a great day. It's amazing how much better a bit of blue sky and sunshine can make you feel. All the moorings are now complete and are fully serviced with water and electricity and the safety kits are installed.

Last night we met up with all the family to go to Richard's 70th birthday celebration. They say that 70 is the new 60, but I don't think it's bad going for a 70 yr old to be on the farm every morning at 6.30am and turning up at the marina site for every Open Day!
