Unwritten laws of nature

Have recently discovered an unwritten law of nature which says that however you pick up a lawn sprinkler when it is still switched on – you WILL get soaked! I feel like my week has been spent moving the darn thing and, it goes without saying, getting soaked in the process! I actually thought I was getting better at it until today when I picked it up and got a direct hit in the face (at least I now have that "fresh faced, newly washed look" about me!) Was just a tad embarrassing given that I was showing someone round the marina at the time.

As well as the turf, the new block paving is really taking shape around the building and it's going to look fantastic when it's finished. on another high note, the Overwater coffee lounge opened on Saturday and it's lovely to have so many more people using the building. Debbie and Vernon who are running it are lovely and always up for a chat – it's more like being at home than in a coffee shop. Added to that, the smell of fresh coffee and bacon baps is driving me mad – I'm going to be 2 stone heavier and high on caffiene at this rate!!!
