The water is going in!

THE WATER IS GOING IN!!!!!!! There is no quieter way of saying that – it's very, very exciting to see the basin starting to slowly fill up. There is even a depth gauge nailed to the end jetty on Gentian. The children are hopping up and down with excitement and are starting to make helpful suggestions of what Father Christmas could bring – a small boat and a set of water skis being top of the list!

Site wise it's been a steady week in other aspects of the construction. The brick work on the facilities building is really coming on and my project manager Mark Jenkinson has introduced me to a Romanian friend of his, Consti Pation, who is an interior designer, and who has some very interesting ideas on where to put the log burning stove I bought for the cafe area last week.
