Waxing lyrically about footpaths

Land and water are back on site finishing off the footpaths. They are putting the final finish on and boy does it make a difference! I cycled down to the marina today and went to have a look. All I can say is that the paths looked good before but now they look brilliant – so much smoother and finished off (am I really waxing lyrically about footpaths???!!)

Managing to fend off the general abuse anout being "on my bike", I spent the day on the front desk trying to set up our new till. Why is it that something so basic, that we all take for granted, can cause so much frustration!! I'll never go into a shop and disregard their till as "just something that you have" in quite the same way again! Anyway, 4 hours later and something towards a victory finally ensued – I can now get it to print till receipts (with our name on!), have department headings, and staff numbers and I even know how to make it add up. All I have to do now is try to explain it all to everyone else........
