Someone new has set up home at Overwater Marina, someone of the feathered variety. We now have a beautiful pair of swans which appear to have set up home on the island. All eyes will be on them to see whether they are succesful in hatching out a new brood this spring.
The ducks are doing well and we have loads of ducklings, well, apart from the one which Sue and I spotted being picked off the water by a large crow and then eaten greedily in front of us – boy can nature be cruel!! As for my brood – they're on Easter holidays and are having a wonderful time playing outside in the lovely weather we've been having. Isabelle has spent loads of time riding, cycling, learning to bake and helping Angus on the farm, and Anna ...... well let's just say that Anna usually has her own agenda and seems pretty busy, probably just hatching a plot to take over the world by the time she's 7 or sometthing like that.
