Better Late than never

Apologies – I just realised that I never posted my blog for the beginning of March – perhaps an indication of how quickly the year is progressing! Here it is!
Spring must definitely be on its way – almost every morning when I walk down to the marina I can hear the woodpeckers busy hammering away at some poor unsuspecting tree – they're noisy little things! I'm also noticing the colour of the grass changing and if I'm not mistaken there are buds appearing on the trees and hedges. I love the spring – it's such a fresh time, one full of energy and new beginnings. Speaking of which, the new caravan pitches are almost complete and Angus and I have nearly had a divorce over choosing the fixtures and fittings for the new loo block – who would have thought there could be so much choice of floor covering! In the marina reception we're busy rearranging shop shelving and trying to cram new items in, and in the office we're trying to gear up for the new season, still wondering where the winter went to, when we had so many plans of rearranging the office space. My desk is still looking full (David just looks at it and shakes his head) – my excuse is I have a lot of things on the go at once and I honestly do know where everything is (I think), but as it's spring I promise I will sit down and tidy it all up, then I'll probably spend the next 6 months looking for stuff!
